Licensing In the State of Texas, you are required to hold a license to perform certain professional duties. These professions are regulated by the State to protect the public in many different ways. Prior to opening your business, it will be necessary for you to research this particular area. The State of Texas has a website called Texas Online. It is a valuable resources when you need to find important information. In addition, you will need to register your business with Bell County. You may want to call ahead to insure that you will arrive with all the documents you need to register your business. Cost to obtain a DBA is $7.00. Addition cost may apply, so be prepared.
